As You Like It with Prince George's Shakespeare in the ParksThe Incest Rep with Brave Spirits is officially open! Reviewers have so far enjoyed the gruesome ‘Tis Pity and the nearly unknown and strangely comedic A King and No King. The shows play until April 23, and there are plenty of opportunities for audiences to plan BST double-headers and see both in one day. BUY TICKETS ONLINE

Rehearsals start shortly for the U.S. Premiere of the stage version of Rainer Werner Fassbinder’s renowned German film Fear Eats the Soul,  adapted by Robert McNamara and a production of Scena Theatre’s 30th Anniversary Season. A compelling story of humanity that highlights the theme of prejudice and the plight of immigrants, Fear Eats the Soul promises to be a thought-provoking work. The show will play at Atlas Performing Arts Center with previews playing May 12, 13, and 14 and the run playing May 16 – June 4.

Following is a local touring production of As You Like It with Prince George’s Shakespeare in the Parks. Many performances will be performed outside, but there are some indoor venues. All are free and promise to be a lot of fun. I tackle Touchstone again, the play’s riotous fool. Performances play July 11 – 23 – the full calendar of dates and locations is available on the PG County Community Events Calendar. Hope to see you in the parks!
