HUNT World Premiere at 2016 Capital FringeThe Scena Theatre War of the Worlds tour to the 2016 Prague Fringe Festival couldn’t have gone better. ¬†Audiences and reviewers alike enjoyed the show and we even won one of the Fringey Awards! Prague is a breathtaking city with a complex and interesting history…it was a true treat to explore it and perform there.

Now it’s on to the world premiere of Hunt, a political tragedy about power, blackmail, and tragedy in the U.S. Senate. It’s based on true events that took place during the 1950s, a time dominated by Joseph McCarthy. Senator Hunt, a Democrat swimming upstream in a congress controlled by Republicans, finds himself in the middle of political crossfire that has disastrous consequences. It’s a thought-provoking plot, especially considering the tone of American politics at the moment.

We play at the Mead Theatre Lab – Flashpoint at 916 G Street NW in downtown DC. Our showtimes are included on the HUNT website and rehearsal photos are going up on the HUNT Senate Play Facebook page nightly.
