Spring Round-Up

Romeo and Juliet, 2015It’s been a busy year so far, and fortunately it looks the fun is just getting started!

Romeo and Juliet wrapped up on April 12th and was a spectacular experience.  Mercutio is most certainly the greatest role in the play (but I’m a little biased) and working with Shakespeare & Company co-founder Kevin G. Coleman was a real treat.  We found some sincere truths, some total silliness, and some of everything in-between while crafting a brand new version of this Shakespeare classic.

Up next is my DC debut – a “24-hour play festival” type of event called Next Day Theater which performs at Tropicalia on U Street on May 16th.  The short original comedies have already been written, but we actors won’t see them or meet our directors until 24 hours before we open! I’m excited to play in DC for the first time.

Following soon after is a full summer season at Acadia Repertory Theatre on Mount Desert Island, Maine! I’m performing in three plays (Wait Until Dark, Sherlock Holmes and the Adventure of the Suicide Club, and Hansel and Gretel) and will be on the island for 11 weeks total.  I’m excited to play at Acadia for the first time since 2008!

More info coming on upcoming events as we roll along.  For now, get outside and enjoy the warm weather!
