WAR OF THE WORLDS in DC and Prague

War of the Worlds with Scena TheatreBefore getting started on Hunt, a new political drama performing at the 2016 Capital Fringe Festival, I’ll be performing War of the Worlds with Scena Theatre!

It’s a stage production of the famous 1938 radio broadcast by Orson Welles that seemed to depict the invasion of Earth in real time. The show combines the text of the broadcast and snippets from at-home listeners responding to the convincing broadcast. It’s an ensemble-style show, but in the listening world, I play a college boy tuning in and in the studio world, I play an intern/doughnut boy.

We perform first in DC, at the Atlas Performing Arts Center at 1333 H St NE. Previews play on May 12 and 13 and performances run May 14-28 with an Industry Night on May 24. Get more info and buy tickets on the Atlas site.

Then we travel to the Czech Republic to perform at the 2016 Prague Fringe Festival, now in its 15th year. We play there from May 31-June 4. Check out the Prague Fringe site to learn more.
