Winter in DC with Brave Spirits and Openstage

Brave Spirits TheatreAs You Like It with Annapolis Shakespeare is officially in the rear view mirror – check out great production photos by Joshua McKerrow in the portfolio area.

Next up is The Maid’s Tragedy, a bloody Jacobean tragedy by Francis Beaumont and John Fletcher, with Brave Spirits Theatre.  This terrific DC company has a great mission (seriously, read about it on their site) and a strong focus on the classics. I’ll be playing Calianax, the ornery father of Aspatia, and I’m really excited to dive in. The show plays February 18 – March 6, 2016.

Also coming up is a performance of an irreverent new short play by Matt Spangler at the January 8 Openstage (a moving DC showcase for new works).

Stay tuned for more updates and photos!

January update: The performance at the January 8 Openstage ended up being postponed until the 2016 holiday season.
